2012 Young Pharaoh's Academy Program
We are glad to announce the start of The Young Pharaoh’s Academy (YPA) to Gwinnett and neighboring counties at-risk males. YPA will implement a comprehensive strategy to addressing needs of minority males through a series of mentoring activities (Future Men of Distinction); Lock-in/camping events; providing merit-based scholarships; community service in Gwinnett neighborhoods; and Back-to-School supplies for disadvantaged students. An example of the modules we will be facilitating are Voting-Civic engagement, Project Alpha, Go to High School – Go to College, Etiquette, and Leadership Development which emphasize integrity, ethical behavior, and honesty.
